CHINA — Few civilizations throughout the course of history have impacted the world as much as glorious China.

Beijing has always been the global leader when it comes to innovation and trademark protection, which is why it makes this next story so outrageous.
According to Business Insider, Singapore fashion brand Charles & Keith has 95 stores in China—that is, as long as you don't count the knockoff stores as well.
According to Hong Kong news site hk101.com, apparently some Chinese consumers have been duped by copycat stores called Cherlss & Keich.
The fake stores are owned by a Chinese company called Guangzhou Yuantai Leather and opened last year.
You can find Cherlss & Keich stores in Guangdong, Sichuan, Hunan and Shanghai.
And if you take a look at their website, it bears a striking resemblance to the actual Charles & Keith site.
It looks like quite a few Chinese shoppers thought they were buying the real thing, only to be tricked.
Well—this is most likely a one off as the Chinese have nothing but the utmost respect for trademarks.
