MASJID TANAH, MALAYSIA — A man unfortunately had to meet his maker after having an accident at a meat factory in Malaysia. <br />According to the Star, a 47-year-old Nepalese worker was involved in the incident at a meat processing facility near Masjid Tanah. <br />An official from the Malacca fire department said that the man was doing maintenance with three other workers in the morning at the factory on December 30. <br />For some reason during the check, the meat-mincing machine suddenly turned on and caught the man at his waist.<br /><br />The Star reported the other workers called for emergency crews at 7:45 a.m. and authorities arrived on the scene in under 10 minutes. <br /><br />He unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on the spot. <br />The Star also said that it took the Masjid Tanah Fire and Rescue Department around 30 minutes to extricate the guy. <br />An investigation is being launched into the incident. <br /><br />State news agency Bernama reported that around 360,000 Nepalese are working in Malaysia, with most of them doing security, construction or hospitality jobs.
