French police were filmed violently arresting a protester during ongoing strikes in Paris on January 2. <br /><br />Footage shows a riot policeman fighting with a protester on the Boulevard des Capucines, and other officers joining and forcibly restraining the man, striking him several times.<br /><br />Officers can be seen using tear gas and mace to force back the crowd of protesters in the street.
