A car plunged into a river after having a collision with another vehicle in eastern China. <br /><br />In the CCTV clip, shot in the city of Changshu in Jiangsu Province on January 1, a black car suddenly smashed through the guardrails on the roadside and fell into a river after having hitting a passing white car. <br /><br />Another video shows nearby people, police and firefighters were rescuing the driver who was still trapped in his vehicle.<br /><br />Finally, the driver was rescued successfully and sent to hospital. He has since woken up and is having further treatment.<br /><br />The case is under further investigation, reports said.
