The Book of Ruth-Old Testament:
The Book of Ruth relates that Ruth and Orpah, two Moabite women married two sons of Elimelech and Naomi, who had settled in Moab to escape a famine in Judah. The husbands of all three women die; Naomi returns to her native Bethlehem and urges her daughters-in-law to return to their families. Orpah does so, but Ruth refuses to leave Naomi. Ruth accompanies Naomi to Bethlehem and later marries Boaz, a distant relative of her late father-in-law. Ruth conceives a son named Obed, the grandfather of the great King David, in the lineage of Christ our Messiah.

Watch more Animated Bible Stories and see God’s Word come alive through faith and imagination.
https://conversationsofthebible.blogspot.com/

The original illustrations are the copyright of Sweet Publishing and these digitally adjusted compilations of them under the copyright of Free Bible images. http://freebibleimages.org/

This presentation contains images that were used under a Creative Commons License.
