The Best and Worst <br />Diets for 2020.<br />'U.S. News and World Report' <br />has released its 10th annual <br />ranking of diets.<br />The Mediterranean diet took the <br />top spot for the third year in a row.<br />The hallmarks of a 'best' diet include balance, maintainability, palatability, family-friendliness, sustainability, along with healthfulness. The Mediterranean diet gets checkmarks in all of those boxes. , Yale University Prevention Research Center <br />founding director Dr. David Katz.<br />Flexitarian and DASH tied for second, <br />with the former focusing on plant-based <br />proteins and the latter centering <br />on limiting salt intake.<br />The Keto and Dukan diets, which <br />both aim for the body to reach a <br />ketosis state, came in at the very bottom.
