Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin on Tuesday said restaurants can opt to build designated smoking areas via their local councils at their own expense. <br /><br />She said the move was to satisfy the smokers and show that the government was concerned with their plight while encouraging smokers to comply with the no-smoking policy.
