'The Batman' Officially <br />Adds Colin Farrell as Penguin.<br />The character is one of Batman's <br />most recognizable villains.<br />Oswald Cobblepot was previously portrayed <br />by Danny DeVito in 1992's 'Batman Returns.'.<br />Farrell's involvement in the movie has been <br />confirmed by its director, Matt Reeves.<br />On Twitter, Reeves wrote "Wait — is that you, #Oz ?" along with a bat emoji.<br />Reeves' tweet also contains <br />a GIF of Farrell shrugging.<br />Farrell's Penguin will face off against <br />Robert Pattinson, who is portraying <br />Batman for the first time.<br />The film's impressive cast also includes <br />Paul Dano as The Riddler and <br />Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman. .<br />'The Batman' is scheduled to <br />hit theaters on June 2021
