Carnival Cruises Ban 'Offensive' Clothing and Other Items.<br />Guidelines can be found on the company's online fact sheet, <br />"Know Before You Go.".<br />Items worn during the cruise should not contain any message that may be considered offensive or contain nudity, profanity, sexual innuendo/suggestions, Carnival, via fact sheet.<br />The rules add that accessories promoting hatred, violence or deemed racial are also banned.<br />Carnival says that the rules are meant to make sure customers <br />are comfortable when traveling.<br />That includes being around guests wearing clothing with inappropriate or threatening images or language, Carnival, via statement.<br />The changes stem from reports of people <br />wearing clothes with "threatening messages" <br />on other cruise ships.<br />A spokesperson for Carnival says the company doesn't expect many complaints about the new rules.<br />We really don’t anticipate this being a significant issue and our crew is not onboard to be the clothing or expression police, Carnival spokesperson, <br />via 'PEOPLE'.<br />The spokesperson adds that <br />the company will analyze <br />future situations on a <br />case-by-case basis
