Hundreds of migrating herons perch on trees after arriving in warmer climates in northern Thailand yesterday (Jan 9) morning.<br /><br />The flock of egrets flew from Europe and its chilly winter temperatures to Phayao province where it was 28C today.<br /><br />Residents were impressed by the beautiful birds as they assembled on the large trees, where they will be roosting until Spring.
