Japan's ambassador to Malaysia, Hiroshi Oka, thanked Malaysian authorities for their "care and support" for badminton world number one Kento Momota and other Japanese players after they were injured in a pre-dawn vehicle collision on the Maju Expressway on Monday.<br /><br />He spoke to the press after visiting the players at Putrajaya Hospital with Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.<br /><br />Dr Dzulkefly said the four were in stable condition and would be discharged once hospital officials were satisfied they were fit to be released.
