BAOJI, CHINA — A Chinese man enjoying some hot pot at China's most popular chain was lucky enough to find a cigarette butt in his yummy-for-the-tummy broth. <br /><br />According to Pear Video, a customer surnamed Liu was eating at a Haidilao location in the Shaanxi city of Baoji. <br /><br />Unfortunately for Liu, lurking inside his delicious broth was a nastly old cigarette butt. Either that, or he was eating tobacco flavored hot pot. <br />Anyways, it looks like Liu called up the chain's headquarters and demanded 14 cents in compensation and that the location be shut down for one week. <br />Haidilao refused to close the location in question, but they did offer the man $144 instead. Too bad Liu turned them down. <br /><br />Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. <br />According to the Shanghaiist, Haidilao now has more than 190 stores through fun-loving China and in cities like L.A., Singapore, Seoul and Tokyo.
