Ariana Grande, via Twitter Grande followed up the big announcement <br />with a performance of a verse from <br />“The Sweetest Sounds” on Jan. 14. The song was originally performed in the <br />1962 musical, 'No Strings,' by Diahann Carroll <br />and Richard Kiley. It was also performed in the 1997 TV adaptation <br />of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s 'Cinderella' by <br />Brandy Norwood and Paolo Montalban. Grande won the first Grammy of her career <br />last year, but she did not attend the ceremony due to a disagreement over a performance of “7 Rings.” Grande is nominated for five awards at the <br />62nd annual Grammy Awards, which will <br />take place on Jan. 26.
