Sanitation workers in south India emptied trash from a dumpster into a garbage collection truck only to find an allegedly drunk man had fallen in too, having gone to sleep in the dumpster. <br /><br />The man had passed out in tthe dumpster in Mandi Mohalla area of Mysore city, Karnataka on the early hours of December 25, 2019. <br /><br />Sanitation workers lifted the dumpster with a trolley and emptied the contents, including the man, into the garbage collection truck.<br /><br />A passerby noticed the feet of the man, which was jutting out of the garbage, and told the sanitation workers.<br /><br />The workers panicked, thinking the man had died, and quickly got him out of the truck. They were relieved to find that the man was alive but seemingly very drunk. <br /><br />They cleaned him up and called an ambulance to shift him to the government-owned K R Hospital, where he was given first aid and discharged.
