Roads in the Philippines have been covered in a thick layer of ash after the eruption of the Taal volcano.<br /><br />Footage from January 15 shows cars travelling on roads in Talisay and Lemery sweeping dust into the air.<br /><br />Military checkpoints were set up to help with the evacuation of locals by pointing out the exclusion zones.<br /><br />The volcano erupted on January 12 sending ash nine miles into the atmosphere and prompted a large scale evacuation as there are fears of another eruption.
