Residents at an island in the Philippines have fun playing 'the coconut coin game' during their New Year's party on January 1.<br /><br />Several small metal coins are wedged in the coconut shell which is covered in charcoal and hung from a washing line. <br /><br />Players hold their hands behind their backs while they try to remove the coins with their teeth.<br /><br />The game is won by the player who can take the most coins out of the coconut.<br /><br />The hilarious video shows the men fighting for the coconut using only their mouths and taking as many coins as they can.<br /><br />Resident Primutivo Rana said that the game was organised by the youngsters in their village at Mantatao Island.<br /><br />He said: "We are a small village so everyone is related. We do the party every year, and everyone comes.''
