Girl students in south India were sent into a panic when seven-foot snake was seen crawling into their hostel gallery and washroom. <br /><br />The girls of Bharathiar University in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, first sighted the snake around 10:00am on January 18, and immediately informed the hostel warden about the snake . <br /><br />The warden immediately called the forest department to rescue the snake, which entered washroom area and could be seen trying to slither up the mirror and walls. <br /><br />Forest department took around an hour and half to rescue the snake, catching it at around 11:30am. The snake was then released into the jungle once more.
