A manhole exploded in southern China after a girl dropped firecrackers through the cover.<br /><br />CCTV video shot in the city of Jianyang in Sichuan Province on January 18 shows a girl squatting on the ground by the manhole. A woman stood beside her and peers over the manhole. <br /><br />Video shows bricks being pushed up and the two moving away from the manhole before an explosion sends the debris flying into the air.<br /><br />The woman and girl were not reportedly injured. Their relationship with each other is not known.<br /><br />The path was being repaired and the incident is being investigated, reports said.
