An eleven-year-old girl from north India set an incredible world record for performing most yoga contortions in a minute from a standing position. <br /><br />The event happened on 20 January in the village of Gaulapar, Nainital district, Uttarakhand, where girl Riya Paladia performed the 'Niralamba Poorna Chakrasana' repeatedly for a minute before a cheering crowd.<br /><br />Visuals captured show Riya performing the intense yoga position for 21 times in a minute, setting a world record, which previously was 15.<br /><br />Reportedly the ‘Niralamba Poorna Chakrasana’ is described as one of the very hardest yoga motions. <br /><br />Speaking to reporters, Riya's trainer, Amit said: "I'm very happy about her achievement and that it was not really difficult for her as she was always fond of gymnastics and yoga."<br /><br />He also added that he will now start preparing her to participate in the Olympics for her to win the Gold medal.
