This is the dramatic moment an overtaking lorry loses control and crashes into an oncoming pickup truck.<br /><br />Motorist Siwaphon Lekprasert was travelling with his girlfriend in the passenger seat when the ten-wheeler sped past him in Pathum Thani, central Thailand, last Friday (Jan 17) afternoon. <br /><br />Footage shows the lorry suddenly crossing lanes and flipping onto its side, smashing into a pickup truck and landing on the grass verge at the side of the highway.<br /><br />Debris from the collision skidded along the road while a cloud of dust rose up from the crash.<br /><br />Siwaphon, who is heard shouting in the video, said: "After the accident had happened, my girlfriend and I immediately called the rescue. <br /><br />"I hope the video will raise more awareness of driving vehicles on the public road. Drive carefully and it could save lives.''<br /><br />The drivers of the lorry and the pickup truck it crashed into were both taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries.
