Insys Therapeutics founder John Kapoor was sentenced to 66 months in prison on Thursday.<br />Reuters reports Kapoor is being jailed for his role in an opioid fraud scheme.<br />The billionaire is among a group of five Insys executives who allegedly participated in the scheme.<br />It involved bribing doctors to prescribe Subsys, an under-the-tongue fentanyl spray approved in 2012 for cancer pain.<br />Kapoor was sentenced by a U.S.district judge in Boston on Thursday.
