A runaway leopard strayed into a residential house in the west Indian state of Gujarat.<br /><br />The incident took place on January 20 in the state’s Kutch district.<br /><br />Visuals show the curious big cat sitting at the entrance of the room, observing its surroundings and at one point trying to bite a pillar of the room.<br /><br />According to the reports, the animal had entered the residential house early in the morning, scaring the members of the household.<br /><br />Personnel from the forest department quickly arrived at the scene and after several hours they captured the animal.<br /><br />Meanwhile a large crowd from the neighbourhood had gathered when the rescue operation was underway.
