Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed on their twitter at 7.15pm, that five fire engines and one aerial ladder platform are in attendance at a building fire in the Deptford Area of Sunderland.<br /><br />Witnesses at the scene have reported that the fire was located at Simpson Street School and that eight fire engines were in attendance by 8pm.
