Police were captured violently smashing automatic mahjong tables to stop players from gathering during the coronavirus outbreak in eastern China.<br /><br />The video, shot in the county of Dangtu in Anhui Province on January 28, shows a police officer using an axe to smash an automatic mahjong table.<br /><br />According to reports, local police smashed 16 mahjong tables to drive away the players gathering. The owners of the mahjong tables were told off by the police.
