A wildlife charity in South Africa has created a "vulture restaurant" to feed wild birds raw meat when food is scarce.<br /><br />This clip, filmed in early January, shows staff from the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Center depositing meat and carcasses and hundreds of vultures descending to feed. <br /><br />"A vulture restaurant is an undisturbed area where non-toxic, poison-free meat and carcasses are provided for vultures and other scavengers," said the organisation.<br /><br />"This supplementary feeding supports the vultures in times of food scarcity and when young birds fledged," they added.
