A young learner driver accidentally accelerated his vehicle and crashed into a family of neighbours in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu, injuring one.<br /><br />The incident took place on February 2 in the city of Salem, as surveillance footage shows a yellow car slowly enter a street then the driver struggles to reverse the vehicle.<br /><br />Meanwhile, a family of six riding on two bikes enter the street and park the vehicles in front of their house.<br /><br />Next, the car suddenly accelerates and hits the family, with a woman having her leg pinned under the front of the car.<br /><br />Neighbours rush and try to move the halted car in order to free the woman's leg.<br /><br />The instructors immediately step out of the backseat and help reverse the vehicle as the shocked driver is unable to react.
