The Food and Drug Administration has issued a public health alert for dietary supplements containing cesium salts.<br />These products usually contain a specific formulation known as cesium chloride.<br />According to Gizmodo, the alert warns both customers to not take these products and doctors not to recommend them.<br />Side effects include potentially fatal cardiac arrhythmias, low potassium, seizures, fainting, and death.
