A major landslide buried a mountain road in north India while expansion roadworks were being carried out in the area.<br /><br />The incident took place on February 6, in Nandaprayag town located in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand.<br /><br />Footage shows the landslide kicking up an immense cloud of dust, while debris blocked traffic on the highway.<br /><br />According to reports, a few vehicles in the area and houses located below the highway were damaged. <br /><br />Several vehicles were buried in the landslide, but no loss of life was reported.
