The choir is pleading for more singers to join their group so that they can continue their tradition of singing and spreading joy. <br /><br /><br />Established in 1925 the choir originally came together to raise money to buy shoes for poor children in the town. <br />The group has at times had up to 50 members but is currently struggling with just 18 - they are asking anybody who enjoys singing to consider joining their group - especially anyone who is a tenor. <br />
