Incredible moment quadriplegic Alejandro Bocija drove a car for the first time with a new system that allows him to be in control of the car and drive normally.

The clip, filmed in May 2019, shows Alejandro taking his first driving lesson since his accident which left him paralyzed.

"I am paralyzed from the neck down and I have no finger movement in my hands so having this system installed allows me to be able to drive in the road like a regular person. Soon, I will take my test hopefully and half my license," he told Newsflare.

Alejandro's accident happened in 2012, two months after travelling from Spain to New York to study English, "I broke my neck in a car accident after only two months of being in New York. It was the day of Hurricane Sandy. I was presented with a lot of difficulties and challenges, but nothing stopped me from wanting to graduate with my old-time friends.
