The Paris appeals court have released Patrick Balkany, the former mayor of the Paris suburb of Levallois-Perret, on health grounds.<br /><br />Footage from Wednesday (February 12) shows journalists run after a car transporting Balkany away from La Santé Prison in Paris.<br /><br />Balkany has been detained since September 13 following a conviction for financial fraud.
