A police officer used a patrol drone to light up a dark road for a pedestrian at night in eastern China. <br /><br />The video, shot in the city of Taizhou in Zhejiang Province on February 8, shows a beam of light from a drone following a pedestrian walking along a street in the dark.<br /><br />After the pedestrian realised that the drone was helping light up the road for him, he gave a thumbs-up to express his gratitude. <br /><br />According to the policeman named Zhou, he spotted the person when using the drone to patrol the nearby area. <br /><br />Due to the coronavirus outbreak, public transport has been suspended and residents need to walk or cycle for a long distances in the dark to get groceries.
