A giant python, estimated to be 10-feet-long, surfaced on a city road in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand causing a crowd to gather around the resting reptile. <br /><br />The incident happened on February 9 in the city of Roorkee, with footage showing a crowd of commuters standing and watching the reptile lying on the road. <br /><br />Other locals on seeing the python got excited and picked it up to pose for pictures and videos. <br /><br />According to reports, locals informed forest department officials who immediately set out to the spot, and released it into the nearby forest away from populated areas.
