Alligator expert Chris Gillette works in a rescue centre for Florida wildlife, and showed off his unique relationship with one of the gators under his care. <br /><br />Gillette has been able to teach Casper the alligator simple commands with a food incentive, as seen in this clip from February 12 at the Everglades Outpost in Homestead. <br /><br />In this clip Gillette is showing Casper a treat and gesturing for the reptile to come over, the prehistoric predator then swims over and gently takes his treat, and can be heard rumbling contentedly. <br /><br />The filmer commented: "Casper is not obeying or submitting to the command of his owner, this is a relationship built over a period of years and it is a relationship of respect."
