The River Taff in South Wales burst its banks today (February 16th) inundating streets in the village of Treforest, near Pontypridd.<br /><br />Footage filmed at around 6 am local time showed the river swamping aa bridge and water flowing into the town.<br /><br />"Around 6 am we woke up to sirens and went out to have a look and the river had burst its bank," said the filmer, who gave her name only as Jessica. <br /><br />"We live on the opposite side of the river and are very nervous. I feel so concerned for the residents opposite us," she added.
