The Sumatra Orangutan Conservation Program released one two-year-old Orangutan individual to the Janto Forest Nature Reserve, Indonesia on February 14.<br /><br />The orangutan, named Cut Keke, was considered to be very healthy and wild, Cut Keke was confiscated from East Aceh residents several years ago. <br /><br />Due to malnutrition and stress, the animal was confiscated.<br /><br />After being rehabilitated for some time, Cut Keke was ready to be returned to the forest.<br /><br />The release of this Orangutan aims to build a new population by living independently and able to breed and be able to survive long in the forest, but also for a better environmental ecosystem in Aceh.
