The 11-year-old malamute-corgi mix loves to sleep under his owner's bed every night<br />An elderly dog who loves sleeping under his owner’s bed has melted the hearts of Reddit viewers after his morning routine was shared online.<br /><br />The cute footage shows 11-year-old Atka slowly crawling towards the cameraman from under the bed.<br /><br />“Hey buddy, let’s go it’s time to go outside,” the owner says as the pooch manages to reach the end of the bed.<br /><br />He eventually emerges and is given a well-deserved stroke on the neck.<br /><br />Reddit user u/laserdiscmagic shared the footage online earlier today, where it has since received a whopping 108,000 upvotes.<br /><br />He explained that he adopted the “senior doggo” and that he follows the same routine every morning.<br />“He's on a diet, three walks a day, and gets lots of wrestle time and pets,” the user explained.<br /><br />“His health is improving rapidly with exercise, diet, and love.<br /><br />“He's incredibly friendly and has done well in every situation we've put him in.”<br /><br /><br />Viewers were quick to flood to the comments section where they both praised the owner for adopting an old dog and gawked at the cuteness of the pooch itself.<br /><br />“Bless you for loving a senior,” one wrote. “He’s living his best years out.”<br />
