One woman has been shot dead and another injured after a gunman opened fire at a shopping mall in Bangkok on Tuesday (February 18).<br /><br />Officers raced to the Century Plaza building in the centre of the Thai capital, near to the city's well-known Victory monument.<br /><br />Witnesses said the shooting happened at around 3pm local time inside a dental clinic in the building. <br /><br />One woman was seen in a pool of blood on the ground as paramedics battled to revive her. <br /><br />Footage shows officers in brown uniforms walking through the building. The gunman is still believed to be at large.<br /><br />Police have closed off the surrounding area. <br /><br />The shooting comes just over a week after a soldier opened fire at a shopping mall in Nakhon Ratchasima killing 30 people and injuring 60 others.
