Shocking footage from central India showed when a two-storey building completely collapsed next to a busy street in a matter of seconds. <br /><br />The incident took place at Birgaon town in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on February 21 at 12:30pm.<br /><br />Footage from the street shows the two-storey building collapsing onto a small shop. The cave-in narrowly missed several pedestrians walking across the busy road.<br /><br />Construction work being carried out in an adjacent household is believed to have contributed to the collapse.<br /><br />According to local reports, a 10-foot trench dug for the construction of the basement of the neighbouring house may have caused the collapse.<br /><br />The residents of the building were evacuated before the building could collapse after fractures were spotted within the walls of the structure. An alert was sounded just before the incident. <br /><br />Luckily, no casualties were reported.
