Indian farmer develops clock with second hand that runs backwards

A farmer in India managed to make a clock that runs its second hand in reverse, while still accurately measuring the time with its minute and hour hands. <br /><br />Laxman Singh Devda, who lives in Panpur village, Mandsaur district, Maharashtra, made the unique clocks over the span of six months, using the parts of two other timepieces. <br /><br />Devda commented that: "One day I thought to do something innovative, so I thought why can’t these watch needles turns into the left direction and shows the right time? <br /><br />"When I first saw the needles turning [counterclockwise] I was shocked and happy too. Now I am getting orders in large numbers to make watches using this technology."<br /><br />One clock with this unique mechanism costs around 2500 INR (around $34.67).
