The flurry of activities over a possible realignment of the country’s political landscape which kicked off on Sunday (Feb 23) continued on Monday (Feb 24) with several events taking place.<br /><br />They include Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s abrupt resignation as prime minister and appointment as interim prime minister until the formation of a new government.
