This northern Welsh castle that has been reduced to beautiful ruins was traversed by an urban explorer before it was developed into a luxury hotel.<br /><br />Filmed in 2016, the footage shows the exterior of Gwrych Castle in Abergele with a drone and further footage from the ground as the antique building was examined.<br /><br />The filmer explained: "A beautiful abandoned castle in Abergele North Wales, Gwrych castle is a stunning folly that has been left for many years. <br /><br />"Currently awaiting redevelopment into a luxury Hotel and Spa complex.<br /><br />"One of my hobbies is Urban Exploration (urbex) and with the help of a quadcopter and the Gopros, I'm able to get some cracking aerial video. <br /><br />"You can see this castle from the North Wales expressway as you travel along the North Wales Coast past the Abergele junction."
