The chips are down for gamblers wanting to cross the Mekong river from Thailand by boat to these Chinese casinos in Laos.<br /><br />Laos immigration is not permitting entry and the casinos have stopped ferrying clients across from Chiang Saen due to the Coronavirus outbreak. <br /><br />The location is part of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone, a Chinese town within Laos under a 99-year lease agreement. <br /><br />Laos has not reported any coronavirus cases.
