Masked robbers uprooted an entire ATM unit early on February 26 at a village in Dhule district in Western India.<br /><br />Police responded to an automated alert within 10 minutes of the theft but by then the thieves had escaped with the machine containing notes worth around 20,000 US dollars.<br /><br />A CCTV camera at the ATM kiosk owned by the Central Bank of India filmed a man covered in a blanket tying the ATM to a van with a cable. <br /><br />He and his accomplices effortlessly uprooted the machine and dragged it outside the kiosk shattering a glass door. They then loaded it into the van and fled the scene. <br /><br />Police said they have formed a special squad to catch the burglars.
