Forest fires were seen burning in Pekanbaru, Riau province on Sunday (March 1) as the dry season begins in Indonesia.<br /><br />Indonesian farmers often use fire to clear land during the dry season, but they can rage out of control.<br /><br />Last year the fires burnt nearly 16,000 square kilometers (6,200 square miles).
