Bernie Sanders
Wins California Primary The massive Super Tuesday
win for the Vermont Senator means he
clinched the state with the most delegates. 415 delegates are at stake
in the West Coast state, equal
to about 30 percent of the total
Super Tuesday delegate count. It is a much-needed win
for Sanders, as a majority of the day's
contests were won by Joe Biden. Sanders referred to the
former vice president during his
speech in Vermont, saying, "you cannot beat
Trump with the same old, same old kind of politics." The Senator also won his
home state of Vermont,
as well as Utah and Colorado. In Colorado, as in California,
Sanders received strong support
from Latinos and younger voters. The total delegate count won
by Sanders will be final once
all votes have been tallied.
