A bizarre video shows people taking cow dung bath to sanitise themselves from coronavirus infections in the south Indian state of Karnataka.<br /><br />The incident took place at Hiriyur town of Chitradurga district on February 20, 2020.<br /><br />"The body will be free of all bacteria and viruses if we take cow dung bath in once a month. <br /><br />"The whole world is terrified of the deadly virus outbreak. If we all start taking cow dung bath, we will attain immunity from the virus. <br /><br />"It is the panacea to the distressing situation we are facing today due to the virus," said one of the men in the video.<br /><br />Coronavirus outbreak has claimed over 3,000 lives around the globe and about 90,000 have tested positive for the virus.<br /><br />There has been no confirmed vaccine that cures the disease.
