This pet tortoise wears colourful woolly hats knitted for him by his loving owner <br /><br />Footage filmed on February 13th in Pathum Thani, central Thailand shows Rot Thang, a four-month-old sulcata tortoise, striding around his enclosure with the unusual knitwear attached to his shell. <br /><br />“Rot Thang appears to enjoy wearing his cute woolly hats. I think it's sweet that the colourful clothes make him look less grumpy,'' said owner Atinop Copter Wong.<br /><br />Sulcata tortoises, also known as African spurred tortoises, are the third-largest tortoise species in the world and can weigh up to 105 kilos when fully grown. They can live for more than 70 years.<br /><br /> Experts don't usually recommend keeping them as pets.
