The death toll rose to 10 as of 4pm on Sunday after a hotel collapsed in Quanzhou city in China’s Fujian province the night before.<br /><br />Authorities said 23 others remained trapped in the rubble of the Xinjia Hotel. The search and rescue operation was still under way as of press time.
