Perak Umno chairman Datuk Saarani Mohamad said he has delivered a letter on behalf of Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to the Sultan of Perak over their agreement to form the state government with Bersatu and PAS.<br /><br />Saarani said in the letter, it also nominates him as the Mentri Besar candidate.<br /><br />He adds all 25 Umno assemblymen have signed a statutory declaration to support the candidate.
